Psalm 50
1 The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

God is so great.  His plan is perfect.  His timing is perfect. God created all the world and beyond. God is so great he saved Noah and his family from a sinful world. God is so Great  he answered Hannah's prayer for a child. God is so Great he brought wisdom to Solomon. Even in my life God is so Great! God has blessed me with wonderful children and a loving wife. God has blessed me with a loving and kind Church family. I could go on and on but let us read his holy scripture.

Deuteronomy 10:17-18
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

2 Samuel 7:22
22 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

2 Chronicles 6:14-15
14 And said, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:
15 Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day

Job 36:26
26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

Psalm 77:13
13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

Psalm 86:10
10 For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

Psalm 95:3
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Psalm 104:1
1 Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

John 14:28
28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Titus 2:13-14
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The scriptures make my heart glow with warmth like a hot bowl of soup on a cold day. Did you know that there is more? God also delivers his people, if we seek him and obey him. God has delivered me from a life of condemning sin. Now thats not to say I am perfect, but I am forgiven. God delivered his people time and time again. God Delivered Joseph from a pit, slavery and prison. God delivered the israelites from bondage into a promised land! God delivered Elijah from starvation and certain death. God delivered David from a giant! God delivered Daivd from Saul many times. God delivered his people from a pagan nation of Babylon and Persia. God delivered Jonah from himself. God delivered Jesus Christ from the Grave,and praise the Holy Lord for it! AS I look back at my life I see so many places where I beleive without doubt that God delivered me. I could go on but let us read more scripture.

2 Samuel 22:2-3
2 And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

Psalm 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Psalm 50:15
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Galatians 5:1
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 15:57
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 John 4:4
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 5:4-5
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Psalm 34:8
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Trust in our great God that he will deliver you if you are his child and obey him.  Pray for oneanother as James reminds us in James 5:16
